Man the animation in this film was great, but geez was the story horrible. I kept waiting for something to happen and I guess it did, they never got together ever.

Am I supposed to feel something here? I could care less about either character and the monologues reminded me of something you’d see at an artsy film display.

If anything the animation was pretty, it almost seemed like a “look was pretty animations we can make” while boring you to death. Maybe I just didn’t get it.

There's a reason this guy is writing for a news paper. He pretty much summed up all my initial thoughts about this movie and more, plus explained his arguments very well. Was really suprised to see it in the NY Post, but nicely done.

The biggest thing I don't understand is that Micheal Moore has the means to live ANYWHERE in the world, and yet he chooses to live here... Not England, France, Canada, or Cuba. I wonder why?

Link to BOTCHED OPERATION | By KYLE SMITH

An Open Letter to the Middle East

Dear Middle East People,

I've read many articles about how we don't "understand" the middle east's way of thinking. The war that we're fighting has gone back too long, and there is too much hatred between factions to ever go back. Now that America, the "great Devil" has been involved, they too will be sucked into a quagmire and never return.

Instead of thinking about that I give you my slant on what it is to be a "free" American. We want to be able to say we feel, go wherever we want, and be as happy as our hard work will make us. That's it, it's really no harder to understand than that. It is so very simple to understand "us" but I still find it hard to understand "you".

While I worry about having a job in the future to support my family; you probably worry about your family's lives.

While I think about if I want to go to the beach, or go swimming; you probably think about if you should walk down a certain street.

While I think about what it is to be a father to my son; you probably think about what would happen if you would stand up for what you believe in.

These are three examples of the differences we probably share. I pity you and in the same thought think that we have given you a chance to stand up. I want you to not have to worry about tomorrow, and yet if you do I don't feel it's on my shoulders any longer.

Our country has given you a choice.

What a strange twist to the Paris saga. Who says money can't buy you anything? She got out, who in the world is going to send her back. She's beaten the judge, the sherrif's on the take, everyone said she would serve her sentence, and yet she's "confined" to her home.

Paris, can we switch homes? I swear I'll make sex videos in your home if we do.

Link to Paris Hilton ordered to return to court - Yahoo!

How retarted. This is the stupidest idea that I've heard of for a few weeks. It's not new either. Other people agree with me.

How about instead of proposing ideas like, "not driving", or "not buying gas" we start driving more conservatively? Wouldn't it make sense to not drive when you have to, when you are driving to keep a lower speed, or not accelerating quickly to the red light 500 yards in front of you? How about filling up your tires or not letting your car warm up?

Nah, that's actually proven to lower consumption, and thereby would lower the costs of fuel. That'd make too much sense, and there wouldn't need to be a "world campaign" to not drive on a certain day. What about those lonely people that don't have a cause to fight about? Think about them!
